Tucked away in a secluded water meadow on the stunning Shermanbury Place Estate, this is a spot where nature takes centre stage. With the River Adur gently trickling by and panoramic views of the rolling South Downs and the historic Chanctonbury Ring - an ancient Iron Age fort - this is a beautiful camping site.
Depending on the season, you may hear cuckoos, nightingales, turtle doves, and woodpeckers, while the riverbanks are often visited by herons, mistle thrushes, snipe, teal, and swans. Occasionally, even the majestic storks from the nearby Knepp Rewilding Estate make an appearance.
